The inaugural symposium Plants and Planting for the Future was held in April of 2019 at PEG Farm and Nature Reserve, Easy Hall Plantation, St. Joseph, Barbados. The symposium was conceptualized to offer a platform for exposure to scientists working in the fields of agriculture, food security and drug discovery, and therefore provide an overall narrative for reconnection to the value of indigenous plants.
